What is paintless dent removal (PDR) from Dent Wizard?

PDR from Dent Wizard repairs dents and dings on vehicles without affecting the original factory finish. Dent Wizard’s trained and certified technicians use specially designed tools to reform body metal back to its original condition. Nobody does it better.


What Size Damage Can Be Repaired?

Each repair claim covers damage on a single panel up to the size of the Ding Shield card (2” X 3 1/2”), provided the paint has not been damaged.


How Many Repairs Are Covered By The Plan?

The plan will provide for either a specified number or unlimited number of PDR Panel Repairs over the term of the contract.  The Select option provides 3 repairs for a 36 month term, 4 repairs for a 48 month term, and 5 repairs for a 60 month term.  The Premium option provides unlimited repairs for the term purchased.

How Many Repairs Can Be Made Per Visit?

Any number of repairs can be made per visit providing there are outstanding credits remaining on the plan.


How long does it take to remove a dent or ding?

Dents and dings can often be repaired in a day or less.


How Does The Customer Schedule A Repair?

The customer contacts your dealership service department to schedule an appointment. If the buyer has traveled or moved away from the dealership’s service area they may contact the claims administrator at 800-458-7072 or go to www.dentwizard.com for details about the nearest approved location.


Is It Necessary To Have The Ding Shield Card In Order To Make A Claim?

No, to obtain service under the plan, simply contact your Dealer or call the Plan Administrator at 800-458-7072.  Prior approval for service is required by this service plan. 

Can More Than One Credit Be Used To Repair Damage Larger Than The Size Of The Card?

No, repairs can not be used collectively.

Does The Ding Shield Plan Cover Paint Damage Or Bumper Repair?

No, Ding Shield is a paintless dent removal plan for dents and dings where the paint has not been broken.


Does The Ding Shield Plan Allow For A Loaner Vehicle?

No, a loaner car should not be necessary and is not provided.

Can Ding Shield Be Cancelled?

The Buyer/Lessee may cancel this agreement at any time by returning it to the issuing Dealer or Plan administrator.  If the cancellation request is made within the first 60 days following Plan purchase and no claims have been made the Buyer will be entitled to a full refund.  If the request is made after the first 60 days, or a claim has been filed, following Plan purchase the Buyer/Lessee will be entitled to a pro-rata refund based on the number of days remainint under the Plan term divided by the Plan term (total number of days of the agreement), or if a specified number of repairs, the number of PDR panel repairs remaining divided by the total number of repairs available, whichever is less, minus a state specific administrative fee.

 
If The Buyer Trades In The Vehicle Before The End Of The Plan, Is The Ding Shield Plan Transferable?

The Plan is limited to the Buyer/Lessee and Vehicle listed on this Agreement.  The Plan is transferable only one time by the original Buyer listed on page one of this contract to someone to whom they sell their vehicle, provided that an administrative fee is paid.  Should the Buyer/Lessee wish to transfer the PDR Plan; the Buyer/Lessee must submit a completed Certificate of Transfer (available by request from the Plan Administrator at the address listed above) along with a $50 administrative fee.
